Roughing Pump
Comparisons- Roots Pump vs. Scroll Pump
In the past 10 years
there has been a move to dry roughing pumps over oil sealed
pumps. Dry pumps are very important for some vacuum processes
as backstreaming of oil is a concern.
As more people look
for go "dry" for cost, maintenance or green reasons (oil
disposal) the choice of pump technology is critical. While
scroll pumps have been the traditional choice the Adixen by
Alcatel ACP15, ACP28 and ACP40 provide a number of benefits
over the scroll pump technology.
