Final leak check in HVAC, refrigeration or automotive applications require precise detection. The Vulkan Lokring can detect leaks as low as 0.01 oz/yr (0.3 g/yr). The MGLD.3000 can be used to detect not only refrigerant gases but also carbon dioxide and hydrogen by changing probes. This the MGLD.3000 can be used for pre-testing to find leaks before the unit is charged with refrigerant gas. A final check can then be made with the refrigerant probe.
