The Vulkan Lokring TLD.500 Hydrogen Leak Detector is designed for hard to reach applications such as leak checking telephone cables, gas filled power cables, gasoline fuel stations, above ground fuel tanks, heating systems and water pipes. The Vulkan Lokring TLD.500 uses a 5% hydrogen- 95% nitrogen mixture as the tracer gas. This 5/95 blend is completely non-combustible green label gas. The fact that it is a battery powered leak detector makes it well suited for rugged field applications.
